 Chapter 2   Who Are You (Song: calling)

Dayne has been collaborating with several scientists. One of whom, he feels a special connection. He's had his own internal  conflicts that he has overcome. 

He sees her (Nia) exhibiting similar traits. He calls out to for help on his formula, and she reluctantly responds.  Dayne admires Nia’s persistence and continued work in the face of her peers rejecting her concepts. 

Dayne suspects that Nia is part vamp and thinks that deep down she knows it. He also knows that she sees the value in the formula for both the human and vamp worlds. Because of this intuition, Dayne reveals to Nia that he is a vamp.

Dayne feels Nia has some of the same struggles and internal conflicts that he has had. He wants her to trust him, and ultimately her own intuition. Finally, he gets through to her and they return to work regularly together,  yet Nia remains extremely cautious.
